Effective immediately Sunrise and Stony Brook Parks have been reopened for use between the hours of 9 AM - 4:30 PM. Please continue to take precautions against mosquitoes and the threat of EEE. Looking forward to the first frost!

In response to the EEE virus threat, the Town of Suffield in collaboration with Suffield Public Schools has taken the following measures:
- Sunrise and Stony Brook Parks are closed for the next two weeks until the first hard frost (Babb's Beach has already closed for the season).
- Organic mosquito repellent was sprayed at the following locations:
- Schools - all woodlines and beds around the perimeter of school property
- Bruce Park Fields
- Sullivan Field
- Babb’s Field
- Cervione Field
- Fleming Field at Thompsonville Road
- Hill Top
TrueGreen applied Mosquito Free by Garden Girls Repellents LLC., which is an organic compound. The repellent remains effective for up to 45 days.
